When I was a wee little boy, during the notoriously hot summer nights of Southern California, my family and I would all go downstairs where it was cooler, spread our blankets across the living room floor, and spend the night together. Those were some good times...

Oh... And there would be those times when we would swim in our pool by the light of the moon. The water was just right, and it was so incredibly refreshing... My dad would always pinch me with his toes. I hated it back then, but now as I think about it, it was pretty dang funny. When I have kids, whenever we go swimming, I'm gonna make sure to pinch them with my toes. They're gonna hate it, but one day, they too will look back and remember how their dad used to affectionately pinch them with his toes.

What wonderful summer nights...
